Thank you for being a buffalo bar... beef on wick Today is amazing... they really went out of their way to get the Kimmerwick rolls... best I've had!! Ice cold Labatts beer on tap and is going fast!! They have tap another keg for me... she said ....lol This place is packed and these two girls ran this whole place so professionally I was watching them. I'm in the business. They are incredible. I don't even know how they can remember all this stuff and drinks they had to make! They are not just pouring beers!! And the kitchen was professional and fast as well totally impressed

New Vegas residents here and had a holiday Monday. Looking for a quick lunch we landed at The Standard Tavern. Every day they have an all day special or a happy hour special. Monday is 1/2 price dine in pizza all day. We ordered "The Standard" which is double pepperoni and hot honey. Expectations were very low but we were pleasantly delighted. Pizza was hot, amazing crust and overall delicious. Would surely order again. Cocktails were delicious and the bartender Jazzy was super friendly and on it. Didn't care for the smoky atmosphere so reducing one star. Like said, new resident so I'm sure the smoke is standard for these type places. Video poker pay tables are horrible, wouldn't play here.

We had a late lunch at The Standard Tavern and had an amazing experience. Jazzie was our waitress, and she took great care of us. Brought menus and took our drink orders promptly, got our order squared away.and kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything as the meal progressed. I had the Mount Charleston and my wife ordered a pizza. Both were exceptional. Jazzie told us that the cook who prepared our outstanding food was Tony--an amazing cook. Loved everything about our meal here, and we will be back again and again. A great local hangout, with great food, great service and great prices. Just awesome!

This place can be hit and miss if it's smokey or not, so if you're like me and prefer no smoke, you'll have to pop in to see the current situation. I popped in late evening and the bartender was very friendly and helpful on deciding what to eat. She recommended the tenders since they were fresh hand breaded and to have it sauced. The other item we ordered was a recommendation of the bartender as well - Sicilian pizza and she mentioned it was an airy crust. The chicken tenders came out first, but they were not sauced. Which, is fine, I'm totally OK with dipping my tenders. However, the bummer was the side of sauce was ICE COLD. No joke. It was a bummer because the tenders were great - flaky, hot, and fresh, but the sauce wasn't usable and the bartender without hesitation requested for the sauce to be warmed. However, when the sauce came out, the tenders were no longer hot. Again - bummer on that. The Sicilian takes longer to bake so that came out after the tenders. The crust was airy like the bartender said, but ironically, the pizza wasn't that hot. It was warm, but not what you would expect to come out nice and hot and gooey cheese. I give this place 4-stars because service is very important and the bartender was great. However, the food was definitely capable of 5 stars, but a couple of issues knocked it to a 4.

Great pizza! Great vibe! Love that this tavern is brand new, clean, huge TVs and fantastic staff. Our server, Sherri was attentive. We're smoke sensitive and can't even tell that there's people smoking at the bar. The owner, Kris stopped by and took a genuine interest in our experience. Will definitely be back :)

Had some other business nearby and decided to stop in as I had heard good things about the place. Came in before the lunch crowd, maybe 4-5 guys at the bar. Got a players card, ordered a drink and played poker while I waited for my gigundo Aviator burger to be prepared. (A good bacon burger sandwiched between two Texas toast grilled cheese sandwiches instead of a bun). Ordered with tater tots. I knew I wasn't going to eat the burger, just figured I would eat the top grilled cheese and some tater tots. The bartender was on point, receptive. The place was clean and the machines at the bar were friendly (at least to me today). Good pour on the Jameson (comped with play). The mega sandwich came out quickly... What I ate was pretty good. They do offere a military discount which ensured them the fifth star. Will I be back? Pretty sure I will.

Great place! Las Vegas has a surplus of bars, but this one is great. It's clean, bright, and has a fun atmosphere. It does not smell like smoke, so I love that! As a hockey fan, I love how hockey is on tv, even though the Knights are no longer playing this season. The food was delicious and the server was so kind. I was surprised to have shrimp angel hair pasta at a bar and it was quite delicious! The sliders were simple but good. The wings were good because they weren't drenched in sauce. And the pizza had good flavor to it. The owner was a super nice guy from New York, so he knows what good food is! I'll be back for sure! Thank you for a great time!

A pretty nice poker bar, but good luck with the parking! My first visit was on a weekday eve, and the lot was full. I was lucky to nab a spot in front of The Standard after driving the lot for a bit. I really liked that they have 2 Lightning Link stand alone machines, and I was a winner on both! I signed up for their player's card (with a really cool poker logo!) and received a $20 free play bonus after earning 200 points. The bartender was friendly and offered me a drink refill when needed. This is a standard (get it??) poker bar/tavern with typical decor and vibe. I didn't order food, and the menu seems better than most. I came here for the $20 signup deal, and don't live in the area. I liked the place enough to consider returning, but the parking cluster may keep me away.

We were trying a new place to change things up and I checked the menu for The Standard. So we went! As long as I've been here (20+ years) we've never been to an actual bar. This is it Definitely 21 and older only. But inside, like every bar, its dark, but the chairs are so comfortable! We went on their 2nd birthday, so the service was a little slow, but the ambiance, friendliness and greeting to their "usuals" was heartwarming! It was better than an episode of "Cheers!" So "bar food," seen it on food shows but OMG. EXCELLENT! We were SO IMPRESSED with how amazing the Aviator burger was, and tbh, the PB & J burger was actually better than the one I get at another burger place! They were so friendly, so nice and the food was AMAAAAAZING! DEFINITELY impressed and will fo again! Thank you for such a good time!
